Built in 1952, the Sarasota Classic Car Museum (SCCM) opened its doors to the public in February of 1953. Although the SCCM has changed ownership over the years it has operated continuously and now enjoys the recognition of being one of the oldest car museums in the world. At one time known as Bellm Classic Cars and Music of Yesteryear, the only trace of that era is a lamp shade in the lobby.
In the same complex as The Sarasota Classic Car Museum is Vintage Motors of Sarasota. Established in 1989, Vintage Motors of Sarasota sells fine quality collectible vehicles and collectible memorabilia. See Vintage Motors album below.
