Nepal 1975

This album contains a few pictures I had originally taken as slides in 1975 on my visit to Nepal. Just like my old time Jamaica slides I try to save them from dusting away through scanning them and letting you view them. More pics are to follow whenever my time allows it. It was such a mesmerizing stay, it´s a beautiful country with beautiful people and amazing colours. A lot´s been destroyed by now. The album also includes some pictures of a Tibetan refugee camp,as well as the photo of a young Tibetian, which goes with a poem I made about the moment I took the pic.

Jamaica rural life

Most - but not all - of the pictures of this album I took in the years of 1978/1979, when I first came to Jamaica and stayed a couple of months in the hills amongst the most loving and caring people.

Originally these pics are slides (fading out and full of dust by now!). That´s why I scan them and try to save them in a way; sometimes I (have to) put an effect on them.
I have a couple of 100s more to do! These pics are very dear to my heart. Hope you enjoy them!

Hamburg-Views & Digital Acrobatics

This album is not complete, first of all. It might never be. But it´s time I´ll open it (it´s been some months on private, because I want to upload more.....)
It´s not really an album of Hamburg in Germany. But all pictures tell of Hamburg. Certain views I put through a "metamorphosis" - I changed their shape or whatever. I kind of did some digital acrobatics with the buildings. That´s why I will call these pictures in English: "Hamburg-Views & Digital Acrobatics". In German I used to call them "HamburGaensien", but that´s too hard to explain, too long a story for non-Hamburgers.
So enjoy my acrobatics of Hamburg.

Hamburg-Harburg

This album contains photos of the "Channel-Tower", the highest building of "Harburg", which is a southern suburb of Hamburg. The Channel-Tower is a bureau-building, which is a bit strangely shaped but has a nicely wrapped around wall on one to two sides of the building. It was supposed "to attract so much attention of passerbies as to cause traffic crashes"! It is 80m high and it has a diffrent appearance from each side. ......................................................................................................................................................................................................... When I first saw this modern piece of architecture I was a bit upset that nothing of common use had been integrated, - like for example a nice wildwaterslide or a normal slide on the wrap-side ( pic.1) for children or for those bureau-people who wish to endulge in this kind of leisure with pleasure after work. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................ But still, I found my own way to deal with the matter, I couldn´t install a slide, but I had a go and played about a bit..........doing some digital acrobatics. Go ahead and take a look, have fun & enjoy! Leave plenty comments, please, I love & appreciate that. Read also the pic´s descriptions for better understanding!
