No way, this is from either 84 or 85.  Likely 84 because of the competition number.

Hey there Mike Halloran: this is Bob  Stacy, I was you boss in the Glendora Tunnels for the J F Shea company Way back in the good old days.  Always like to see you race and those beautiful black Chevrolet.  The black Corvett and the Blacy Chevell.  I have not had the pleasure of cathing up and visit with you scence you came to my house in Diamond Bar Calif. I had just had back surgery and I think you were going to Orange county. Right after that Shea sent me to Utah and I did a long water tunnel up there.   I am finally retired and live just a few mile from Joplin Missouri. I will be moving back to Calif as soon as my home and property sells. Will be  moving back to Bakersfield Ca.  area. If You get this email I would love to here from you.  I always have my cell phone with me  (417)392-7547 hope to be at the smokers meet.  My brother in lawd grand son will be driving his new and beautiful top fuel.  He worked for John Force for quite awhile.  Take care Mike and hope to meet up again some day   Bob  Stacy    mailto:bstacy72@mchsi.com

    Tyree Headers Firebird
Glad to see your still kickin around. I first saw you at the Santa Ana Drags when my dad raced a 59 Ply for Al Roberts. You made headers for my 57 Chev in 64 or 65 when you were in Full. I came down to your house in Full. by the College a few times just to visit. Going to the drags often I started on interest in Willys. Building a 41 p/u rod, and a stock 33 cpe in the 80s & 90s that ended up in the NHRA Museum aprox 2004 next to Stone Woods & Cook & KS Pitman. The cpe is now at the Automobilia Museum that has about 20 or more Willys stock & rods,  in Rancho Domingez near north Long Beach. I look forward to seeing you again some day in my travels to car shows.  Take care    Warner Hall

    Saddleback Dodge Dart
i remember Mr. Allen when he came out to Budds Creek Dragway as a kid. He was always my favorite driver back then. I even had one of those postcard they gave away in the pits signed by him until a couple years ago when my ex-wifes kid destroyed it. I remember him and Bruce Larson in his USA-1 Camaro racing a few times. One of these days I'll get to meet him again.
