    Snoopy Jaguar
This was Sheldon's second funny car.  The first was really one of the very early funny cars from 1965, as I recall.  It was a fiberglass 1965 Ford Galaxie, used by Ford for a T.V. commercial on top of Pike's Peak.  Somehow, Shel got hold of it and became one of the first with a funny car.  He ran it mostly at Lyon's Drag Strip in Long Beach, Ca.  I am Sheldon's nephew and was 12 when he built the car.  My dad and I went almost every week to watch Shel run.  My dad was his parachute packer.

    Houston Hustler Vette
Well all I can say about johnny mack(aka flash ) is he was a good driver ,could get down any track, make a great show ,and was and is a friend of mine !however circumstances beyond his control brought him down!but I always remember him and Robbie sitting around his shop, one afternoon in 77 ,the car (race car /Houston hustler )and the two truck was scattered about in the shop in a million pieces ,and I asked him and Robbie ,when were they gonna race again ,and both told me ,tomorrow night at the old Houston raceway (down by Galveston on I 45) they did !and then left for Seattle with a half drum of nitro .and if I remember they were runner up,there .
I could go,on and on about johnnie mack(flash) but I'll just sit back and do some remembering
I would sure enjoy watching FLASH drive once more !but I don't think this will ever happen
    Take care FLASH
