| | | | | | | - New Garden Railroad Under Construction 2009
- In 2006 I decided to change and expand my railroad to get all of the track off the grass and make more of a real railroad out of it with road bed under all of the track. After getting started and moving in alot of dirt life, work and life put the project on the back burner. After 2 1/2 years of sitting I finally found my way back to it, as you can see it was out of control and overgrown.First step was to trim some trees pull alot of weeds rebuild the rock wall out front and planted some Photinias (hedges) to close off the yard from the street. Next was to lay some track and reshape the dirt mounds to give everything a good fit. I will be adding two 4' bridges one wood and one steel to connect the two sections, I also have a couple of 1' bridges one open and one covered that I need to find a place for. The railroad also includes a tight hill climb that will go over a couple of tunnels. I hope to have this up and running in the next few weeks.

| | | - Hobby Club Flyers Northern California
- When I go to Hobby shows,Car shows or anywhere I might pick up some type of Club promotion flyer being handed out I usually end up with a stack of paper I have to store. So I decided this would be a good place to store them so other people could also check them out. Flyers include car clubs,train clubs,rc clubs and all types of scale modeling clubs check out the clubs and keep your hobby around. - The Wine Country Modelers meet on the third Thursday of every month at HobbyTown USA in Petaluma. Meetings begin around 7pm. Most members are car/automotive model builders, meetings often include and welcome science fiction, fantasy figure and military models. Meetings last about 90 minutes with a round table show and tell each person given a chance to show off and share their build. All builders are welcome to attend the club meetings share your project, ask questions or just to restart your interest in the hobby. Membership is Free, we only ask that you build it as you see it.
