It was great weekends with international fever, so we went to october fest ( german beer days), and Japanese street fare

At the crest of the Shawangunk Mountains above the Hudson Valley in Upstate New York, lies one of the finest equestrian trail systems in the United States: approximately 80 miles of carriage ways designed in the late 1800’s for horse-drawn vehicles and horseback riding. The trails were originally part of the Lake Minnewaska and Lake Mohonk Resorts; the system is now operated by the 7,000 acre Mohonk Preserve and the 23,000 acre Minnewaska State Park Preserve. Both areas are open to the public for a modest daily or annual fee and horseback riders are welcome. The two Preserves are linked by a single, relatively level carriageway that passes through an historic hamlet once known as Trapps Village.

One of the most eagerly anticipated traditions of the season, the critically acclaimed Holiday Train Show presents an enchanted New York, wrapped in the glow of twinkling lights. More than a dozen large-scale model railway trains—from late-1800s American steam engines and streetcars, whimsical ladybugs and circus cars, to modern freight and high-speed passenger trains and trolleys—traverse nearly a quarter-mile of track across rustic bridges, along overhead trestles, through tunnels, and past waterfalls that cascade into flowing creeks. Also new this year, Thomas the Tank Engine™ will join the fleet of model trains animating replicas such as the Statue of Liberty, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Ellis Island, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the original Penn Station and Yankee Stadium—all created from plant parts.
