two climbing trips to Ontario, Canada with Chris Shores and Todd Belsky (late July 2005), and later with Scott High (September 2005, Labor Day weekend).

Ice climbing north of Sault Ste Marie, ON, Canada, with a bunch of great people (Chris Shores & his friends, and my partner for this trip -- Brad Reinke).

June 1-3, 2006. Bad weather in the North Cascades.

We also tried again in September 2006, but the weather was even worse (we got drenched to our underpants, and after two days of the approach, returned on the account of worsening weather; No worthy pictures were made during the 2nd attempt).

A great trip to Agawa canyon and Montreal river area on 2007 Labor day weekend. Yuji and Stephanie, Brad and Kristi, and yours truly were there. Brad and Anton made a first ascent of a new route in Agawa canyon (south face of the cliff visible from Towab trail, near Burnt Rock pool area; 5.7).

A family trip to AZ. As usual, I tried to combine it with rock-climbing. Rock climbing was great, but it ended too soon because I came into an unexpected close encounter with a local CACTUS, after which I had to visit emergency room, and I am still limping because of two big cactus needles in the muscles around my right knee. Still, we all had a great time in Arizona. Yes, we had a blast!

A family trip to West Virginia's New River Gorge. Day 1: rafting (guided); Day 2: rock-climbing (@ the Bridge Buttress). Despite some difficulties (primarily concerning intra-family affairs and relashionships), it was good. Everyone liked at least something during the trip. I'll try to put a description of the trip here later...

A not very successful trip to north-western China and Kyrgyzstan
