Please feel free to comment if you think there is any unvalid name or if you can put a nametag on one of the unidentified plants.
Thank you all in advance.
Kind regards,
Alain

    Raphionacme flanaganii
It's an excellent subject for a bonsai. The shallow pot helps the roots to dry out properly, which is part of avoiding rot.

Bowiea volubilis miniature flowers and fruits
I have three of these plants at this time. They are descendants of one my father gave me years ago. He had his original bulb at least 45 years ago and I have kept this one going at least 25 years. Of course the plant has divided many times and this is the only way I have propagated it. I have only seen flowers on it twice. I would be interested to know what and how you feed it and what kind of soil you have it in. Mine is in cactus soil.

I am so excited to finally find out the name of this plant after all these years. My daughter discovered some at the Philadelphia flower show.

    Chorisia insignis again
I have seen this wonderful tree all over south America and in Manila,Luzon and Guangzhou,China. most species dont seem very spiny, the best I saw were on the border between Peru and Ecuador and in the Chaco wilderness of Paraguay. The tree is known as Palo Boracho(drunken stick) in S.America. I am trying to germinate seeds of Speciosa at present though insignis will be better for me to try in a warm sheltered spot in my S.E. England garden as that species is more frost tolerant. The tree grows in some parts of Chile where the winters are very cold, maybe the light is not sufficient in my garden ...time will tell :-)

    Kalanchoe thyrsiflora
The picture of the Kalanchoe thyrsiflora is quite amazing. The shape of the leaves are quite different from any I have ever seen of the species. I would be quite interested in knowing your growing medium . Very interesting. Thanks Dave.

    Fockea edulis
Ive had mine for over 6 years and it is still about the size of a golf ball. Doesn't seem to be getting much bigger at all. But then I have had it out in the hot sun all the time so that might have something to do with it.

I have put it in the shadehouse now.

    Raphionacme flanaganii
Recently bought Raphionacme Flanaganii without knowledge of care. This beauty has been trained around a trellis. The base not large in size. I would enjoy knowing alittle more about this plant. For all the information i can collect so far is that rotting of this plant can occur if over watered. I am still trying to collect information on light requirments/ amount of water that i should provide for plant during dormant and active period. Well needless to say hopefully one day he will be a firecracker.

    Euphorbia squarrosa
I also have one of these E squarrosa. It seems the vegetative growth on my are much longer (i.e., over a foot long), whereas yours is of the short stubby variety. Perhaps this is a seedling, although it already has a nice caudex?

    Euphorbia bupleurifolia
This is one of my favorite Euphorbias but it seems not many nurseries in the US offer it. Where did you get yours, Alain?

    Hi,
Do you trim the vine as the plant goes into dormancy?
