The Hero Festival in Auckland includes the Heroic Gardens, where gardeners throughout Auckland allow the public to wander through and appreciate their gardens. This series of photographs is for sale through this website and all proceeds will go to HIV/AIDS related charites: Positive Women Auckland, Body Positive Auckland, and the Cartier Bereavement Trust.

Part of auckland's Hero Festival, the Big Gay Out is a popular annual event. There are handbag throwing contests, Gay Dog event, Drag Racing....you get the picture. Its a fun day with a family atmosphere.
