Thanks Gypsy and Marcka. I was quite smitten with that paint job. Took a lot of photos of it but thought I would spare my friends by not posting all of them!
Looks like a very colorful town. I have a friend with a house here. Never been myself though. There is a lot of Canadians and Americans that live here full time I'm told. Cheers Sandy
Flooded or special picknick place for the warm summer days? -------- Yes flooded. The lake has been much higher in the last year so there will be not picnicing!
Did you see many stray cats? It made me so sad! didn't see too many, most cats and dogs we saw were well cared for. I was very surprised. I am sure there are many many places where that is not the case. We were told that they let dogs have puppies because children love them but as soon as they grow up they are abandoned because they are not "cute" anymore. We met a lady who takes in strays and cleans them up for adoptions to GOOD homes. Even people from other countries have taken them home. It was a good story but I am sure much more need to be done!
