Most unusual...... but would give me the heeby jeebies --------- Mexico at this yime of the year (Day of the Dead) was a good way to get over those kind of feelings as these Catrinas were everywhere as well as skelatons and skulls and little coffins . In the markets, vendors sold all kinds of minitures for small alters to celebrate your dear departed loved ones and to keep their memory alive. You kind of become immune after a while! Here is a link to a page showing the alter and market goodies to dress up the seasonal alters. http://public.fotki.com/BambooMary/mexico-2008/tlaqapaque/page4.html .......
Thanks, most interesting....... I am a bit of a wimp though
Is that a basin in the corner? It looks like a christening font! Love the wardrobe, nice a bright ---------- Yes it is a wash basin, It was kind of handy when some one was in the OTT bathroom LOL ........
Fantastic...... I presume it had holy water (sorry I am getting carried away!!!! )
OTT..... but nice for a while! -------- Too hard to get the whole room in as it was fairly large, the countertop area and mirror were the only OTT items in the room. On the whole the room was quite pleasent.
wow...that is really nice and spacious....is it the landing? ---------- Yes, a landing leading to all of the bedrooms on the upper level as well as the tiled bathroom with the tin mirror.
