3 day climb. Day1: from White river via camp Schurman to Emmons Flats.
Day 2: Climb to summit via Emmons/Winthrop glacier route in bad weather - the only ppl on the route that day. With Boris Itin & Slava Ispolatov
Day 3: Climb Upper Curtis Ridge via Wintrop glacier & upper headwall of Russell Cliffs.50-70 degree snow, rock and some ice. From the book: "This is a route for teams looking for something unusual and wild in a summit climb from Camp Schurman". Climb w Boris Itin.
