The Housatonic Rail Road is a short-line freight road consisting of about 162 miles of track running along the eastern boarder of Connecticut and into Southwestern Massachusetts.
The Housatonic Railroad purchased GP9, number 1802 from the P&W in 2001 and has yet to repaint it in HRR colors. Prior to going to the P&W, this GP9 was number 53 on Connecticut Central.
