Southford State Park

A scenic spot in Southbury, Connecticut.

It was a special treat to take fellow Fotkin, Susi, and introduce her to this lovely park on April 19, 2008.

I hear the east coast is getting some snow today. We got lucky in the Glen...the low pressure drifted to the south of us and we got only a dusting. Nothing personal...but I'm glad you're getting hammered and not us. I'm ready for spring. RWBlackbirds will be back in three weeks (Mar. 12th is average return date) and spring will be right on their tails.

We received the worst of it on Valentine's Day, a combination of snow, sleet, and freezing rain. I would rather have ten inches of pure snow than four inches of this stuff.

    I hear that, bro.
