Die Hannover-Messe ist die größte Industriemesse der Welt und findet jedes Frühjahr auf dem größten Messegelände der Welt in Hannover (Niedersachsen) statt.


Die Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) veranstaltete im Jahr 1947 auf Initiative des damaligen Oberbürgermeisters von Hannover Gustav Bratke die "Exportmesse 1947 in Hannover" und legte damit den Grundstein für die internationale Etablierung des Messeplatzes Hannover und den Erfolg der seitdem stattfindenen Hannover-Messe.

Ein Schwerpunkt der Messe ist die Robotik. So findet zum Beispiel der deutschlandweite Roboter-Wettbewerb RoboKing auf der Messe statt.
