Der ACC Reutlingen feierte im Jahr 2002 sein 15jähriges Jubiläum. Er wurde 1987 von ein paar US-Car-Liebhabern gegründet und zählt mittlerweile 47 Mitglieder. Ziel des Vereins ist es, ein Stück amerikanische Kultur weiterleben zu lassen. Aus diesem Grund kaufen und restaurieren wir amerikanische Automobile jeden Baujahres. Dabei stehen sich die einzelnen Mitglieder beim Kauf und bei der Beratung zur Seite und helfen sich gegenseitig bei der Restauration eines Fahrzeugs. Viele Mitglieder haben sich ihren Traum verwirklicht und können Fahrzeugmarken wie z.B. Cadillac, Lincoln, Chevrolet und Ford ihr Eigen nennen. Die Fahrzeuge haben teilweise über 40 Jahre "auf dem Buckel", was man den guten Stücken aber nicht zwingend ansehen muß. Mit viel Liebe und einer Menge Zeit werden die Dinosaurier aus Blech und Stahl gepflegt, instand- gesetzt und gewartet. Das Fahren soll dabei selbstverständlich nicht zu kurz kommen. Aus diesem Grund werden regelmäßig Ausfahrten zu verschiedenen US-Car-Treffen in Europa organisiert und durchgeführt.

The ACC Reutlingen celebrated in the year 2002 its 15jaehriges anniversary. It was created 1987 of a few US Car lovers and counts meanwhile 47 members. A goal of the association is it to let a piece live on American culture. For this reason and restore we buy American automobiles of each year of construction. The individual members stand themselves with the purchase and with the consultation to the side and help themselves mutually with the restoration of a vehicle. Many members carried out themselves their dream and to know vehicle marks e.g. Cadillac, Lincoln, Chevrolet and Ford their own call. The vehicles have partly over 40 years "on the embossment", which one does not have to regard the good pieces however compellingly. With much love and a quantity of time the dinosaurs from sheet metal and steel are maintained, repaired and waited. Driving is not to come thereby naturally too briefly.
