Cassia Obovata (part of the Ayurvedic journey)

This was recommeded to me by a few LCHF gurus- since my hair is dyed and I like the color I wanted the same conditioning benefits that I hear about with Cassia. I bought it from mehandi.com I needed 200 grams
I washed my hair with ayurvedic brew deep conditioned with Asian Curls Ecstasy and the rinsed and dried my hair under the drier with NO products. What a mess.!!!
Oh I didn't let it sit for the requisite 15 minutes but I must say I have shine and tendril definition. The next time I do this I will read the instructions and let it sit for 15 minutes

Yea, that is what my hair looked like when I first did Cassia.
It was very difficult to wrap up and I still had flakes after I washed my hair. Another really good way to get the same results as a deep conditioning treatment with Cassia is to just brew it in a tea and use it as a rinse. I dunk my mother's hair into the rinse and let her sit with her head in the water for a while.

henna and cassia are soo awesome because our hair becomes tangle -free its worth the mess and work -- to limit messiness, you can also just add your cassia to 2 cups of plain yogurt or sour cream and it works just as well, with NO DRIPS or SPLOTCHES!

Cassia with Blackstrap molassess and a splash of ACV.jpg

you can also make it the night before and apply in the morning -- that works great as well.. then relax till afternoon :)

I LOVE it!!! You've got a really beautiful hair texture.

So help me out here? Is the product you are coloring your hair with a bleach of some sort? Please explain . . .
