These are products and styles I have used this month.

I am loving co-washing and wash and go. My hair seems to thrive on moisture. Since my hair is dense, coarse with curls ranging in size from pencil size to magic marker size, I am experimenting with products and looks.

This month, I tried my first amla powder treatment. I did it on wet hair and left it on for one hour. I then co-washed and deep conditioned. I liked the curl formation and the bounce back of my curls. I also did a mix of amla and shikakai. I preferred the mixture of amla and shikakai. My hair felt lighter on my head.

I also used Aubrey's Organics GPB conditioner for the first time. I applied it on dry hair for an hour. I loved the smell. My hair felt soft afterward.

For the flat ironed hair, I visited a local Hair Cuttery.

On vacation, I had just learned about co-washing (washing only with conditioner). I was using Garnier Fructis sleek and shine for my co-wash. I was rinsing it all out then applying coconut and jojoba oils.

I was visiting local Hair Cutteries. They would wash, condition, detangle, place me under and hooded dryer, blow dry and flat iron.

My hair was soft to touch after each visit.

I flat ironed my hair after washing, conditioning, detangling and blow drying. I used Sabino moisture block before blow drying and after flat ironing. My hair was soft and touchable.

I was washing my hair and adding Fructis creme for curly look. I would allow my hair to air dry. Unfortunately, they do not make the cream anymore. It was wonderful on my thick hair.

Last August, I married. These are a photos from my hair do trial. Unfortunately, I do not have any good pictures showing the back of my updo. It was gorgeous.

My hair was shampooed, blown dry, flat ironed in the back and pin curled while the front was braided.
