Thanks Jacq! The diorama is about 16" x 44". I would guess the actual shop building is approx. 9" wide x 28" long. One day I hope to take some decent overall shots.

Chuck,
what are the dimensions of the diorama and particullary of the building?
Having no real reference I keep looking at this piece of art / work, it is a benchmark for me.

Hi Jacq. This is an early shot. I later added the guard and clamps.

Chuck,

you keep the scene alive with those small modifications.
No guard around the belt needed anymore?
Where did you put the clamps ?
It stays inspirational, always discovering something new.

Chuck
I am very interested in learning your technique for ground covering. the dead grass, debris and weeds are breathtaking. How do you do it? What do you bond the material with?
Thanks,
Gene

Hi Chuck I think your finish on the lathe is superb. Whole scene captures the atmosphere of a slightly run-down Repair Facility. Would very much like to know HOW? I'm building a layout in Gn15 which incorporates a Machine shop.
Looks as though I've a lot to learn to reach your standards.
Cheers GerryB
