Pics were mostly taken before my departure from abroad.......this month hubby and I bought our second home and moved to Illinois/St. Louis, Missouri........it's been so busy!!!! In the upcoming months I plan on doing more protective styling........

Tried new products these past couple of months.....Shea Moisture Retention Shampoo and Conditioner & Yes to Carrots Conditioner......I absolutely loved them!!!!! Our move/transition to the St. Louis area has been very smooth almost done unpacking, loving the area and loving our new home!!! The hubby and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on the 3rd of Sept..... I also made the big 3-0 September 10th and we celebrated in Chicago......I love Chi-town!!!!

These two months, I've been experimenting with twist outs, something I've never done before. I really love them. I have learned the trick for my hair by using conditioner only. I've tried to use shea butter and coconut oil before but they never came out right. I really want to master twists so that I can wear them out as a protective style. New product this month was Blended Beauty Happy Nappy styles......I love this stuff!!!

Hello natural beauties!!!! I've been doing protective styles this winter....this is my first real winter transitioning from Louisiana to overseas and overseas to St. Louis. My hair is not used to this harsh weather so I've opted for a few protective styles until it gets warmer. BTW, I absolutely love the snow!!!!!!!

These pics are from Valentine's Day w/ Hubby and trip to Louisiana where I got my hair straightened and highlighted in March. My hair survived my first winter in St. Louis and is still doing pretty well.

Fun times!!! Since we have moved to the St. Louis area, I have missed my friends dearly!!!! I had 4 friends from college to visit me in April(Go Jags) and I had my best friend since 11 and one of our college suitemates/buddies to visit. We had a blast.....just what I needed. Good friends, Good times!!!! Highlights still holding up:)
