Hello, we meet again.
It seems we've come a long way.
Are we still islands of misunderstanding?
We have grown, we have risen,
we have questioned all the answers -
Has the road you're on taken you any farther?
You can pass along your judgement,
and that's allright by me -
pass it along whereever you like,
but don't pass it down on me.
For noone knows us deep inside
where in our dreams swirl the rushing tides
which pull us closer to our destinations unknown.
Still the road is long in front of us,
with signs we've yet to read.
If you see a barren field -
will you sow it with your seed?
Let's break down the walls and build some bridges
for the end could be around any corner
and I'm still no closer to you.
Let's light a candle
and end this darkness -make us all aware
We are one with the universe -
the light we seek is there.
From dust in the wind comes the seed -
the plant that's plowed
We are brothers - we are sisters -
apart for far too long
Seeing through far too many eyes
to know what is really going on.
And now I must be going -
The road I'm on is long...
