Hawks

I was in for a lovely surprise today when I took Hunter to the bus stop. As we walked out the door, not one, but TWO hawks alighted on a dead tree across the street from my house. I didn't have my cam on me, so I prayed they would stay there until I was able to run back into the house and grab it. When I came back out, one of them had moved to a dufferent tree, but I was still able to pull off a few shots before they both disappeared into the woods. The one that stayed in the dead tree looked as if he decided to pose for me...lol.
