Who says kids can't play in rainbows? A backyard and a sprinkler is all a kid needs to create his own rainbow to play under

I know that I will probably rearrange things as I always do, but for now, this album will do.

Sometimes, the greatest days are the ones that you didn't know would happen. I wasn't expecting company this day, but it turned into an impromptu cookout, and fun in my back yard. This is just a few pics of the kids.

I don't often take pictures of people, but sometimes I just come across fun or intriguing people in my travels. I don't always know who they are, but they capture my attention, and in turn, get captured in my camera.

I decided to take my son fishing, because we had not been all summer. He caught two Bluegills, a small bass, and two catfish. As you can see, he had a blast!

The Big E stands for Eastern States Exposition. it's kind of like a 4-H show on steroids. The states involved are Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Connecticut. It is held on about a hundred acres of land, in West Springfield, Ma. They have many permanent structures for this fair alone, that is held once a year for 17 days. Just ONE of the animal barns are as big as a football field, and they have at least FOUR that I have seen. It is so huge, that we spent over 10 hours there, and I STILL didn't get to see everything!

I didn't get the chance to take as many pics as i would have liked, because the gaggle of people I was with were busy running from house to house. However, I love the ones I did get to take!

As most of my friends may know by now, I have an issue with Christmas trees in my home. To make a long story short, All of my trees since 2006 have broken after I put them up, including brand new ones, fresh out of the box. I have been blaming my deceased hubby, since he was jewish, and had an aversion to what they represented. he knew that despite his laments, I was going to have one every year. Since I had to buy another one anyway, I found a beautiful prelit black fir tree. With all the halloween items on clearance, I just couldn't resist doing up a tree decorated in Halloween garb.
If he were alive today, I am sure he would have thought that this was his kind of tree.
So far, this is what i have done. I will add more pics as I progress.
