I love Box art on model kits. In fact, I've been known to buy a kit simply because of it's boxart! I have accumulated a large collection of model kits over the past 3/4th of a decade, and all the unbuilt and some of the built have been added. The rest will be added at some point, and of course new purchases too!

I am known for El Caminos...so they should have their own album! I've built a few, and have more on the way.

Just as an aside...all these pictures can be found in other sections of my Fotki too, nothing is exclusive to here!

I take alot of group pictures of my model cars. Enough to warrant it's own album, even.

Hopefully will scan all the ones I have.

Non-NASCAR models that are not done yet. Some have been in here a LONG time...

NASCAR models in progress.
In Summer 2007 I made a self-imposed rule that I would not start any more NASCAR models until I finished some of the ones I had in progress. I had 116 at the time, I have 94 in progress now...(3/5/08)

When I finish up a model, I don't always have enough pictures or interest to give it it's own album, but the in progress shots sit there cluttering up the already crowded in progress sections. Not anymore. If a car is shown in this album, it is already done and can be found in the two All My Models section! This album is a mix of street and NASCAR.

I have some models other people have built...they will go here.

I have a very small area to display models on, so pretty much every time I finish a new one, the display gets changed up. It's also gone through a number of diffrent styles over the years.

These photos were taken in 2001. I know the date only because two of the pictures are of the things I purchased at the 2001 NNL East, my first model car show. They were taken with a standard 35 MM camera and scanned in on October 18th and 19th, 2005. These were probably the second batch of model car pictures I ever took, as I know I had a small photo album at the first NNL for me. Since these came after it, they were probably my second.
There are some builds in here that have gone missing, or have just completly come apart and these are the only known photos of them. Some do not survive to take new photos.
Unfortunatly many shots are blurry. At the time I was 16 when I took these pictures.

From TNMCC meetings to NNLs, I display my models from time to time and this is their "Show Off" collection of photos.

Track My Progress from Crappy to less crappy to, finally, even good. I'm finally building models that I consider good. And expanding my horizons!
Had to use the three digit system so they would be in number order.

There's nothing better then Lake George. And there is not much better then building models. I build every trip to Lake George, and from now on I will be photographing every car on the beach, although it is a bit condition sensitive and may not be possible. I won't take them out in the rain, or if the paint is not fully cured before we have to leave.

We moved into our house in 1977 and we finally emptied it for the first time late 2004. Amazingly, we found 5 models in it! 3 were build by my dad and two were unbuilt!

Was the Hobby Heaven Double Dawg Dare Ya Challenge, but the challenge these photos were taken for ended 2 years ago...

So now it's just a more detailed look at the old kits in my collection....

I still plan to build most of them eventually!

Back when I first started building, I used a comic book backing board and drew small squares, filling them with each diffrent color, effectivly making a paint chart. Unfortunatly, I have misplaced it and not seen it in a few years.
On May 31st, 2006, I set out to recreate that chart.
It involved sorting my entire brush paint collection and shaking up some bottles that in some instances had not been touched since 2001.
This time I used two magazine sized backing boards, one for enamel paints and one for acrylics.
I am still trying to determine a way to make a chart for my rattle cans....

In addition to the seemingly endless projects I start myself ( :) ) I have also aquired a number of projects that other people started. Some I've worked on, some I have not yet, but here they are...

I start many model car projects. Some go on to happy, completed lives. But some will never be done for a variety of reasons. These are those cars.
Includes major blunders on my part, things that won't work or I can't figure out, and basically projects that I have given up on for whatever reason.
