The famed "Glass Case" Superbird! You have heard about this car , now, one of you can own it! Purchased new by a small dealership in West Virgina who, for whatever reason, KEPT the car for himself from 1970 to 2003! But, it gets better. After driving the car for 30,000 miles as his personal car, when the dealership (and Esso Gas Station, remember, this was a small town where places like this existed!) closed in 1983, the owner left the Superbird in the showroom window. To make sure it was left undisturbed, they built a wall around it and boxed it in. This is where the car sat for better than 20 years. Although it could be seen, it could not be reached. I have photographs of the dealership with the owner, the car being extracted from its tomb, and other such documentation of the cars "coming out" party. This is an UNRESTORED, completely original 31k mile 6 Pack Superbird in ORIGINAL PAINT. The only paint work that was done was to the nose to repair damage incurred during storage. The engine compartment , trunk, and interior are untouched and among the best time capsule specimens you will find. The exterior paint is simply exceptional , and is in fantastic shape as the pictures show. The car has been comprehensively yet very carefully brought back to life and runs and drives as new. Fully documented and complete with tons of paperwork including the original Broadcast sheet, warranty book, copies of the original title, original owners manual, pre-delivery inspection form, and much more. Of course, it is 100% numbers matching and has never been apart. This is Mopar history. Truly an incredible find that will not be here long!
