We got off really, really lucky with this one. New Jersey and lower parts of NY were devastated, but the damage stopped at the county line, from what I read. We took no damage, other than the lampshade of the lamp waiting for county pickup in our back yard. We were only without power for roughly 5 hours the day after the storm ended. We hardly even got any rain...just enough to make things wet, essentially, but none of the downpoars and flooding they predicted. Most of the pictures I took were either of the moon, which came out during the heart of the storm, or of the leaves, which, surprisingly, blew off our lawn, for the most part.
