What an incredible night. I have been a race fan for more then 20 years (and I'm only 23!) but I had never been to a race. Now, thanks to my friend Robert Wasnorowicz, he took me along with him to see the World of Outlaws at Orange County Fair Speedway. It was the first time I had seen oval track racing in person! (I had previously seen straight line competition at the same track, but not since 1997, and also a road cource race on Lake George when it was frozen, but those were tuners and don't count!) Terry McCarl won from the pole after leading every lap.
There was also a Sportsman race which was pretty neat-they went slow enough that I could actually make out which car was which! :)
After the race, they opened the pits and I went down and got quite a few autographs-and even got to meet some legends like Steve Kinser, Jac Haudenschild, Terry McCarl and more!
Unfortunatly it was VERY dark in the pits and the night setting on my camera is not very good-thus a lot of blurry photos. :(
A note about the photo captions-I labeled the Sprint drivers based on the entrants list in the Program. The labels for the Sportsmans were taken by matching car numbers with the Sportsman roster at http://www.ocfsmotorsports.com/Roster.htm

I got to sit in an Edsel! It was a lifelong dream, and it happened!

It's also the third oldest car I've ever been in, behind a 48 Ford and a 54 Dodge...

I got to see a 60 Edsel in person for the first time today!!

This was a great exhibit, the Brass era cars are really spectacular.

We went to the museum to see the Cadillac exhibit on the way home from Toledo Ohio from the NNL. I took more then 100 pictures and my mom took a bunch too so I figured there were enough from this one exhibit to get it's own album.

We both liked the 1931 V-16 the best...

These were taken at the Studebaker Museum in South Bend, Indiana. I'm sorry the pictures are not all in order, and I can't guarentee some of them aren't from the ACD Museum, but I'll leave the numbers of the original picture in so at least that'll work.
