The human face holds such storehouse of memories and emotions. Such individuality makes portraits so fascinating. Every wrinkle and every smile is a story waiting to be told. My favorite aspect of portrait photography is getting a glimpse into the person before, during, and after I take the picture. There is a people watcher in all of us; there is something about the appearance of our species that has fascinated artists as long ago as prehistoric cave etchings, to Michelangelo and the other Renaissance Greats, to the Media Culture today.
