    RYSTRON Paintings

    Paintings by Rystron.

Here is a peek at my collection of Rystron paintings mostly from 1999. Said to be an elusive artist... not much really exists on the internet to say who... what... where... when... etc. After my collection there is a section of Ryston paintings that are owned by other folks listed by name and location in the title.

    My Camera Collection

With 900 plus cameras, I decided it was time to "photo-catalog" them. The prices shown on the pages are the original cost of the cameras for the year they were introduced. For the time, some were quite expensive. For instance:

    A $40 camera in 1915 would equal a $900 camera today.

An $80 camera in 1940 would equal a $1200 camera today.

    A $120 camera in 1970 would equal a $670 camera today.

Lens Test - Nikon Mount Lenses on an EOS 7D

What kind of picture quality do you get with older manual focus lenses when using an adaptor that allows them to mount onto a modern camera? A test of 4 Nikon mount lenses mounted onto a Canon EOS 7D using a Nikon to EOS adaptor and two of the lenses with 2X tele-converters that were with the lenses when I bought them. All taken on an sunny afternoon. - All tripod mounted with review to assure best possible focus.

Note: My new Nikon Auto Focus Lenses would not work with this adaptor as all four of them close to an F/32 setting when removed from a camera and there is no way to adjust the F-stop.

Before the digital age... there was this thing called film... it was placed into cameras and used to make prints and slides. :) Here is a look at some different film.

While collecting cameras, it is impossible to not also gather miscellaneous lenses. These lenses are shown in sets based on the make of the mounting format with adapters to convert them to use with a Canon EOS camera. Individual lenses are shown with specifications.
