What memories I have of driving into that elephant cage. I remember the "road toads" that would hop out onto the road on a wet night. You could hear their little bodies "pop" as you unavoidably run them over! The next day, their sun ripened and flat bodies would litter the road.
I'd say this picture is from the early 80's. It looks the same as when I was there. I did two tours out at Bldg 200 with NSG as a CT Marine. The vehicles in the parking lot, especially the Suzuki Samurais, which were really popular on Guam are I'd say 80's vintage...Think I see a Camaro in there too!
This picture was taken I believe in the 70's? The special intelligence relay center was located on the top deck of the "terminal bulding" until it moved into the CDAA.
