The Isle of Nourmoitier, in the Northwest of the Vendee province, is connected to the main land by a bridge. For some reason, there are no parking spaces at either side of the bridge, so unfortunately no pictures of the bridge. We visited the Sealand aquarium, the city of Noirmoutier, and it's castle which is said to have inspired Herge's Rin Tin Tin album The Black Rocks.
