    Hi! That's the Bogg's Bros AMX and my Granfather, Ray Pinto, used to own it. He purchased it in the late 80's and restored from the chassis up making all of the updates to keep it NHRA legal. When he media blasted the body we found it was molded in a red/white/blue scheme, and so that's how he painted it. He made it into the 8's on a naturally-aspirated 428ci AMC (stroked 401). He sold the car in the mid 90's to a gentleman in Ohio who installed a much less powerful engine and is running high 9's in Nostalgia races. That particular picture is found on the cover of the old (70's) book called "Drag Racing", of which I have a copy.

    Great car !! Great pix !! I love to see the early ramblers turned into bad ass drag machines!! I have the perfect AMC engine for this car. Doug
