Chesco Fireboard first dispatched this fire as an alarm. P/D arrived on scene within minutes and reported heavy smoke showing. The dispatch was then upgraded to a working bldg fire. All hands were in svc with fire to the rear in the kitchen area and duct work. Chesco companies 02, 68 & 04 for the R.I.T., Delco-15 & Montco-47 were all on scene. The fire was brought under control within the first 20 minute mark. The restaurant is located in the Gateway shopping center, which suffered a huge multi alarm fire approx 10 yrs ago.

Chief-5 arrived on scene to a 1 story 50 x 75 Restaraunt & Bar with heavy fire thru the roof. He placed Tower-3 & Ladder-4 in svc with master streams. Numerous exterior handlines were also in svc. There were several large but partial roof collapses, with air conditioning equipment on the roof.

Large 3 Story SFD. Fully involved on arrival. At least 6 handlines in svc, defensive ops. Lengthy overhaul. Elderly female found near back door.

Chief-25 arrived on scene to a fully involved 150 x 50 barn. He had companies go in svc with master streams and exterior handlines. The fire was brought under control in approx 30 mins. 6 horses that were housed in the barn all perished.

2nd Alarm on arrival. Companies had heavy fire 1st floor on arrival, with 2 pedestrians struck by vehicles in front of the fire bldg. 3 helo's were flown for 3 of the victims, 4 victims transported by ground.

Companies from another attached garage fire around the corner from this one, were diverted to the scene of this fire. This fire I believe went to a 2nd alarm equivalent, with a tanker task force plus tankers from the other fire as they were released. Very large 2 story SFD with attached garage. Garage was well off on F/D's arrival, with extension to the dwelling. At least 6 lines were placed into service, with a tanker shuttle put into place for water supply. Both the Firefighting and tanker ops went smoothly. Crews did a great job of preventing further extension.

Approximately 01:00 Fire Dept's were dispatched for the dwelling fire. Arriving units found heavy fire from a 1-1/2 story SFD. The tanker Task Force was requested. Numerous lines in service.

Very large 2 story SFD with attached 2 car garage. Fire started in garage and extended into dwelling. Chief-61 requested the 2nd alarm on arrival. There were other special calls for add'l Engines & Tankers. An interior attack was first mounted, until the fire load became to intense to stay inside. Firefighters backed out and took to an exterior attack before re-entering the dwelling. The fire travelled from the garage, up the "D" wall into the dwelling & across the roof. Large embers from the cedar shake roof, started quite a large brush fire behind the home. They dropped over 2000' of 5" supply line from the tanker ops at the end of the driveway to the house. After the master stream ops were shut down, they had 6 handlines in service.
