Gladstone Towers, Scottdale rd

Company 19 was dispatched for a transformer fire. Upon arrival, 19-9 reported he had a smoke condition inside the bldg which housed numerous elderly and ambulatory residents. They did have an outside transformer fire with an electricla fire inside the walls of a 2nd floor apartment. 19-9 requested addl apparatus and ems to the scne to evacuate the residents. Peco was requested to the scene for gas and electric, and for the high co readings from the 3rd floor of the bldg. Companies were on scene for more than 3 hrs.
