Companies got the dispatch for the dwelling fire at 49 Richfield just after 8pm. M-8 Lanni arrived on scene reporting heavy fire from the 3rd floor of a large 3 story twin. 37-1 advanced an 1-3/4 line to the 3rd floor with assistance from squrt-36, and made a quick knock on the fire. Ladder-36 vented the 3rd floor front while Ladder-20 took the rear and opened up the roof. Tower-74 replaced ladder-20 as the R.I.T. Fire is under investigation by Upper Darby Fire Marshall M-8 Dan Lanni. UD-9 Ed Cubler had command.
