PFD Engine-54, 63rd & Media, 7 injured

Philadelphia Engine-54 was involved in an MVA while responding to a tactical box. They took a hard broad side hit to the driver side rear of the truck, which sent the truck into a sideways slide across the road coming to rest on the front steps of a home. In all, 9 cars were involved in the accident. 8 of those vehicles were parked cars. 4 firefighters and 3 civilians were all transported with minor injuries. Engine-5, Ladder-13, B/C-7, Deputy-1, V/C-1 and 4 medics were on scene.
