4445 Holden, Philadelphia, Hi Rise Box

B/C-11 had fire in a trash compactor at ground level and in the chute on the 12th floor. The M.I.R.A. Box was struck and all hands were placed in svc. 2 add'l medic units were requested above the 2 on the assignment. Crews were placed in svc for fire extinguishment as well as rescue & ventilation. The upper floors of the bldg were being evacuated due to heavy smoke conditions. Several residents were treated on scene with 1 resident being transported for smoke inhalation, believed to be minor.
