B/C-11 had heavy fire on the 14th floor of a Hi Rise Apt Bldg, with extension to the 15th floor. All hands on 3 alarms were in svc with the 4th alarm companies staging. There was heavy smoke through out the upper floors of the bldg approx 20 stories 100 x 400. Numerous rescues were made by F/F's. 2 F/F maydays were sounded. 1 F/F was transported to Lankenau Hosp in respiratory distress. Approx 9 residents of the bldg were transported for smoke inhalation. At last report, the F/F was listed in gaurded condition, 1 resident was listed in critical condition.
