Lieutenant Kevin "Boltz" Collins, September 17, 2004 -

Kevin was tragically killed while swimming in the Atlantic Ocean. Kevin was representing the Highland Park Fire Company of Upper Darby, at the annual NJ State Firemans Convention. He was pulled under by a very strong current, and found 2 days later. Boltz was dedicated to the Fire Dept and to serving and helping people in his community.     Today marks three years since you "went away". Today you also became an uncle, two years ago the chief's son was born, and last year we lost Nan. All of the ironies that have happened since you died on this day and the weekend that surrounds are so overwhelming and numerous it is hard to make sense of it. I hope you know that I miss you better yet we miss you, and we always will. I love you and miss you...

    You have no idea how much I miss you. I want you to be here with us, it is not the same without you. To hear you tell a story again, I would give up anything. I love you so much, and hope you are taking care of Nan.
