DCFA held it's annual dinner and awards ceremony at the Drexelbrook banquet facility. Members from Company-63 Green Ridge received awards for their part in the rescue efforts at the Parkside borough fire. Curt Weldon also received an award of Excellence for all he has done over the years, not only for the emergency services in Delco but across the country as well.

Delaware County District Attorney Michael Green held the awards presentations at the Ridley High School auditorium. Awards were presented to Fire, Police, & Ems that were involved in the tragic events surrounding the fires in Parkside & Sharon Hill in 2007. Service to Community awards were also presented to local Hospitals and medical teams. Presentation of Order of Merit awards went to Daniel Brees, & Chase Frost of Parkside, and Chris Miller, Joe Tesauro, Andrew Payne, and Michael Reagan of Sharon Hill.

The D.C.F.A. held their annual awards dinner banquet Saturday March 3rd. The guest speaker this year was past Chief Harry Carter from Adelphia New Jersey. There were many other dignitaries there, including, Congressman Joe Sestak, Congressman Curt Weldon, District Attorney Michael Green, and others from the area. Awards were presented for Fire Fighter of the year, Junior Fire Fighter of the year and many others.

Delaware County Firemans Assosciation held it's annual Awards ceremonies & Banquet at Drexelbrook on Saturday night. DCFA & Collingdale Fire Company are celebrating together, their 100th anniversary this year.

Firefighters, Paramedics & Police officers recognized for their efforts in the fatal fire at 206 Oxford Hill Ln in Havertown on July 6th. Firefighter Mike Norman Jr. Received a citation for making the grab. Each Fire Department was given a unit citation for their part in the incident.
