Sunday walk, Burnt Woods   RSS GeoLocation
Blue sky, lots of sunshine and not to cold. A good day for a walk to Burnt Woods Loggerheads. Some of the woods were once part of Loggerheads Sanatorium. It was built here because of the height and good clean fresh air. The paths were once used by the patients to walk through the woods and visit its ponds and pools. I nearly landed up in hospital again on this walk as I had a nasty fall face first into some viscous brambles. I bumped my nose and had scratches to my face knees and hands. There was blood and mud everywhere. Good job Kate was not with me because she would have had a good long laugh at my 'comic fall'. She wouldn't have let me forget it, she has a wicked sense of humour. Roll on May :)

Is this to play on or some form of torture?
Part of the old playground, the train left years ago!!
