Your pictures are just great. I enjoyed them! Especially those snapped in Japan... I could use some of your tips on the country: where to sleep, bargains and stuff. Maybe I'll write back to ask you a few things, once my mind will be set on the trip.
Love, g
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ciao Giusi,,, Tips on Japan, well,,, if I ever got my butt in gear and posted the rest of my Japan pictures there would be a wealth of tips and knowledge... http://public.fotki.com/GaryGS1/travel_albums/japan_summer_2003/ But for now,,, things are generally more expensive in Japan but well worth it. Hostels listed as Hostelling International are very clean, helpfull and geographically well located. The people of Japan embrase more respect then any other peoples I have met. And it's clean,,, very, very clean... Be prepared to take your shoes off everywhere!!! But sandals will be supplied!!! Good luck and have fun if you go... Sayonara, Gary
as not to repeat.....I will paste my previous msg from April...

--------------------------------------- Hi Erin!!! Ya,,, there I am again in the rice fields of Japan,,, Thanks for stopping in!!! Gary (and for the nice comments)
Yup .......you should ............. I would get one for both of them too :) ~E
------------------------------------- Ok, I will!!! But I gotta ask Scott what he thinks the best size is... I remember his telling me that the resolution was not that great on this one!!! Maybe 5 x7's would be good??? Thanks Gary
That is a great photo, a real conversation starter. It's one of those photos if you used it in your hallway or foyer, or in the dining room, people would look at it, and then say "Hang on a minute"!
The family shot with either the Alps or the Eiffel tower you might swallow thinking this guy is a clever photographer the way he's used depth of field here, but having the Eiffel Tower and the Alps in the same photo, with you guys in short sleeves is great!
I am only a recent Mercury 7 fan, he is very clever isn't he. (Yes, Gary)
I have been enjoying Scott's stars and night photography work, and he has been helpful with advice about how to take better photos of stars myself.
I agree with Stein's commenton this photo about knowing people who know their stuff, it's much easier to ask someone who is an expert, rather than muddling your way through trying to learn yourself. Peter
Hi Peter!!! Yes, Yes and Right, Right!!! Thanks for you great comment here... Gary
