~ "Continued from 2010" I am uploading a few photos of each days main events. Newest Photos First / Feel Free to have a Look / Leave a Comment!!! Cheers!!! Gary
This makes me want to cry, dearest Gary. If I recall correctly, you have lost several of your gorgeous hens this year. I hope "Buttercup" will be the last one to pass away for a long time to come. One thing is certain, their deaths are not due to lack of care and concern on your part. The only thing you haven't done (to my knowledge) is spend the night in the chicken house with them. You take better care of your chickens than a lot of people take care of their children. Luv ya bunches! Sweet Caroline
A fabulous capture, dearest Gary. This is such a great photo of so many of the "Lovely Ladies" together that I just had to snag it for my collection. I hope that's o.k. with you, Sweetie. If not, just say so and I shall remove it immediately. I plan to use it as one of my screen savers throughout the year. Besides, it will always be quickly available when I tell my friends and acquaintances about your gorgeous and unique hens. Luv ya bunches! Sweet Caroline
A beautiful and very precise Grape Vineyard. I can't wait to see the grapes as they grow and fill out all this space. You now have quite a lovely farm with your grapes and berry bushes. After planting all these vines and berry trees, you must have been doing a little planting in your dreams, as well. I'd say you appear to be busier in your retirement than you were when working your full-time job. The best part of all the farming is getting to watch the fruits of your labor with each passing day. I'm certain the neighbors are enjoying watching all these lovely vines, trees, and vegetables grow just as much as you are. Watching you planning and planting all this vegetation makes me envious. I miss so much not being able to even pluck a weed from my garden. Because of the pollen, heat, and humidity, I can't even enjoy sitting on my front porch and watching the activity of my neighbors. Keep up the great work, dearest Gary. Luv ya bunches! Sweet Caroline
Oh my--and Venison Meatballs, too! This was a meal fit for a King, indeed. I hope before I leave this earth, I will have the opportunity to dine on Venison--of any description--one more time. My favorite way of cooking Venison is either in a tender steak form with lots of sauteed onions, or a tenderly cooked pot roast served with Red Wine Peppercorn Gravy. I learned to make the Peppercorn Gravy from the Germans; and any beef, pork, or Venison has to be accompanied by this awesome sauce. As usual, dearest Gary, you always manage to make me hungry whenever I read your posts. Luv ya bunches! Sweet Caroline
One has to enjoy the delicious taste of clams and manos to go through so much trouble to collect enough of them for a stew, casserole, etc. Not only is it a very messy, muddy task, but the weather is always cold enough to freeze off your tutu! LOL! I hope everyone enjoyed the clam/pasta feast. Luv ya bunches! Sweet Caroline
