"The Mexicans were starting to bury in the Molokan cemetery,
and were told that it was a private cemetary. There were
about 8 Mexican burials. The Mexicans now bury in there
own cemetary up the hill.
The Rogoff's are buried on the north side of the cemetery, counting about 15 plots. The Tolmasoff's are located on
the west side of the cemetary." (John N. Kotkoff)

My Aunt Paula said that she remembers a nice looking, blond-haired, blue-eyed young man coming to visit family in San Francisco, CA. When he came he said that he was a relative and lived in "Mexico". My aunt was perplexed because she had never heard of a blond-headed Mexican national!

My Grandparents were Joseph Alexander and Mary (Shubin) Drobshoff. Other names connected to the family are Evanikoff, Shubin, and possibly Nazaroff.

If anyone knows of a connection between these names and the Molokans in Mexico, please email or post a comment.

Thank you, these pictures are wonderful!
