My mother had a son who died during the polio epidemic in la. His Name was Billy and was 8yrs old. I was sure that somehow I can find the date and burial grounds. Two molokan cemeteries. Which one would he be at? The last name is Fillipoff or Filipoff. Father John, Mother Mary. I am guessing in the late 40's. I thought about calling Alex on Tuesday to check with him. There are no other relatives to ask. Great to see your voice! Jackie
Hi Jackie.. Thank you for the pat on the back.. "William-Jonathan FILIPOFF" was born 09/29/1942 and died 06/07/1942 in los Angeles. I would presume he is buried in The "New Molokan Cemetery" on Slauson Ave., but I only have photos of a fraction of the Markers there. Sorry. Also, Alex J. M. Filipoff died 07/08/1989 in Montebello.
