"Old" Russian Molokan Cemetery, Los Angeles, CA.

4319 East 2nd. Street (East of Eastern Avenue), Los Angeles, CA. 90022
Many Russian Molokans were buried in the Evergreen Cemetery or the L.A. County Cemetery, and relocated here when the property was purchased.

Many of the old wooden markers have since disappeared. Some old stone markers remain & some have been replaced by newer ones.

    Моя бабушка (девичья фамилия Самодурова) рассказывала, что часть ее родственников - молокан уехала в южную америку из Грузии Тбилиси (Тифлис) вроде в начале 20века

    Many Molokans went to South America before coming to the USA. Some stayed. Also many came through Ancon, Panama Canal Zone and then on to San Francisco as they earned enough money to do so. I suppose some would consider Panama as 'South America'. (Ghrishka)
