Many Russian Molokans were buried in the Evergreen Cemetery or the L.A. County Cemetery, and relocated here when the property was purchased.
Many of the old wooden markers have since disappeared. Some old stone markers remain & some have been replaced by newer ones.
Electronic Translation: "My grandmother (maidenly surname Of [samodurova]) said, what part of her relatives - the Molokans left to South America from Georgia of Tbilisi (Tiflis) like at the beginning of 20[veka" (century)

Many Molokans went to South America before coming to the USA. Some stayed. Also many came through Ancon, Panama Canal Zone and then on to San Francisco as they earned enough money to do so. I suppose some would consider Panama as 'South America'. (Ghrishka)
