What a treat to see my maternal Grandmother here, she was Jennie Shubin, here with sister Hazel, as small girls just before leaving Russia. My Grandmother Jennie Shubin married William Shubin, and had five childern: from oldest to youngest: Esther Ann, then Ann, then John who served in the Navy, then my mother Frances Jean Shubin, then the youngest, James or "Jimmy" Shubin. My mother Frances and uncle "Jimmy" both had red hair, as I do, and my brother, John William Greenwell.
