Taxi Cabs Worldwide

Being a taxi driver I take an interest in the local taxis where ever I travel, specially the more unusual variety.
Check out http://glennisnz.blogspot.com/ for some of my taxi driver tales.

Taxi services are so convenient! I lived in New York for the summer, and taxi's were everything. On days that I needed to get somewhere in a hurry, I was able to catch a cab and get there. Don't get me wrong, I loved the subways, but they took quite a bit of time. Taxi's are so fast and easy!

Do they still sing Po Atarau when a huge ship leaves?

    Yes Merike they often do.
Mainly it is sung in English "Now is the hour' but sometimes in Maori.

    Funchal Taxi Portucal from Merike
Wow, you have got my photo here, splendid!!! The taxi here is so nature friendly that they do not use petrol when they move the car forward in the line, only after they have got a customer.. It is in front of a beautiful park.
