| | | | | | | - Jack
- AKA: Rooster, Jack The One Eyed irate, Jack-In-The-Box, Mr. Stinky poo-poos, Little Sausage, The Torpido, Dumb-Dumbs & Nubbins.
Those are a lot of names for such a little guy but he sure does have a big personality.
Little Sausage is a foster pup. He was found by a nice lady all alone in a parking lot on a major highway. Some one had dumped the little guy. He was skinny, convered in fleas, and had a badly damaged right eye. The lady brought him to the vet office where I volunteere twice a week. She asked that he be put to sleep because his eye was so damaged and he was in such poor shape. She didn't have the funds to repair his eye and knew the local animal shelter would have put him down as well. He had such a sweet and friendly personalty, even in his sad state that the vets did not have the heart to put him to sleep. The vet clinic repaired his eye and neutered him for free. They then began looking for a home for him. I took him home a few days later. He needed antibiotic ointment in his eye 4X a day at first and the Drs. thought his eye would have to be removed. But luckily it did not and now its almost completly healed. He is a wonderful little dog who we think was born around July 30, 2009. His my little buddy and comes with me almost everywere. Here are some pictures of him. I hope you enjoy them. - albums: 1

- Year 1
ASK FOR PW IN GUEST BOOK
I did not do a BC but I consider this time period the beginning of my Napptual Journey. I have been natural all my life, except my first year in college. This was when I got a perm to make my hair easier to care for during schooI. That was as far from the truth as can be and I was so very unhappy with the results and my hair's condition. In March 2001 I BC'd and vowed never to put another perm in my hair. However good my intentions for ending the abuse were thworted; I was completely clueless on proper care and maintainance of my hair. From March 2001 on I hid my hair with extensions, abused it with commercial products and heat, and threw good money after bad in attempts to combat the dryness and breakage that I was plagued with. I loved the color of my hair but hated the texture and was completely convinced that it would always be a "hot mess". Extensions were by best friend because I felt I could be stylish, natural and not be embarrased by the brillo pad sprouting from my head.
The story did not end there for salvation came in October 2007 when I stumbled across Napptuality.com, then Nappturology 101 and finally Cnappymenow. These sites really changed my life and made me realize that there were others going through what I was and that there were women with my hair type that had beautiful and lush locks. It really changed my life and gave me so much more confidence in my hair's potential. I found so much information and after about a 1.5 months of experimenting with natural products, getting a plethora of info from these sites, and learning about the experineces of others; I found what my hair loves, needs and wants to grow. The breakage and dryness stopped and my hair began to flurish. This is why I feel that December 2007 is the True Beginning of my Napptual Journey. I thank you for taking an interest in my story and please visit often!

- YEAR 2
This year has promised to be full or change and new begings both in the political climate and my own life. It has been a very long time since I have felt so hopeful and excited! I look forward to the changes that will be occuring in my life and new starts waiting for me and my husband.
After much trial and error have finally gotten it right. My hair is soft, wonderful and happy. Though it is shedding a little more that I like, winter will soon be over. I have developed a full line of homemade products that my hair and body love and I look forward to each passing month knowing that I finally am all natural, able to style, maintain, and grow healthy natural hair without ANY commercial products. I am in better shape than I have ever been, and am very pleased. Enclosed is my photo journal documenting YEAR 2 of my continued journey.
Thank you for taking interest in my photos and please stop by regularly.

| | | - Mr. Pupps: Please Visit Me!
- This album is dedicated to my wonderful, loving, happy puppy and all his wonderful fluffiness.
Mr.Pupps was born on December 7 2003. He is a fluffy Pembroke Corgi and was such a sweet little puppy; I just had to bring him home. From the start I knew he was brilliant! I should have named him Einstein. He excelled in his obedience classes taking first place and also passed his CGC test with flying colors. He is a pleasure to live with and I love him dearly. I felt that he should have an album dedicated exclusively to him. - albums: 1

- In this folder you will find a photo catalog of my cacti and succulent collection both past and present. As of now the collection database folder's albums are in alphabetical Genus-species order. Since my collection is still small I have ordered it this way. If I start to specialize in a certain genus than I will set-up folders dedicated simply to them. Please enjoy and I will be taking spring pictures of my plants soon so check back occasionally for updates.
