Long awaited and eagerly anticipated re-release of the Grand Daddy of NASCAR model kits.
The MPC 1/16 Petty Charger was first released in 1973(?)..It has not been re-released until now, as far as I know.
Originally marketed with the now famous "clear" body, the new kit is molded in opaque blue. (Petty Blue)
