"Still Cruisin' Antique Car Show" was a part of Beatty Days 2010. In addition to the car show there was a parade, an ICS Chili Cook Off, Bike Show, Bed Races, Pickle Liquor Hoot-n-Hollar Contest and much more. It was a great old fashioned good time.

The 3rd Annual Monster Mash Car Bash to benefit F.A.S.T. (Finding Autistic Solutions for Tomorrow) was held at The Las Vegas Hilton. F.A.S.T. is a non-profit organization to offer financial assitance to schools that offer Autism programs. Cars were decorated for Halloween and children went trunk or treating. Over 100 cars came out and supported this worthwhile charity.

The City of Las Vegas and Councilman Steve Wolfson hosted Trunk or Treat Classic Car Show and Halloween Fesitval. The event was held at the Veteran's Memorial Leisure Services Center. The cars were "spooktacular"; they were covered in spider webs, ghosts, ghouls, witches. The cars provided tricks or treats to the trunk-or- treaters. There were many activities for the children including arts and crafts, a petting zoo, and a costume parade lead by Councilman Wolfson. The weather was perfect. A Saturday night cruise-in was held at the Star Burger in Boulder City. A perfect Saturday night of hotrods, burgers, fries and ice cream.

Hotrod, White & Blue II was held September 11, 2010 out at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway at The Bullring trackside. Pappas Motorsports was the promoter for the event to benefit the Nevada Paralyzed Veterans. of America. Everyone had a great time supporting this worthwhile cause.

Jeff & Bud lit the 540 motor. Enjoy the sounds of the motor. The first video "Lighting the 540" is with glass pack mufflers. The second video is the switching of the headers and the mufflers to the ones that will be on the Nova. The third video was done with the right exhaust system. This is going to be one Bad Ass 67 Nova.

The Cedar City Rotay Club hosted the 13th Annual Tink's Superior Auto Parts July Jamboree. Friday night Cedar City's historic downtown was the scene of the main street cruise. Pre-registration was held at the Crystal Inn where there was live music and a Dutch oven dinner. The Saturday morning breakfast was held at the Garden House. The Rod Run took place following breakfast. The run took the cruisers through the scenic backroads of Iron County. "Show and Shine" was held on Main Street, Downtown Cedar City, Utah from 3pm-10pm. Rain showers took place during "Show and Shine" but they did not dampened the spirits of the attendees. Once they were over the cars were dried off and the weather was picture perfect.

Quite a few cars from Las Vegas came for the event. Friday afternoon we took a cruise to Kolob Canyons approximately 20 miles south of Cedar City. The canyons are part of Zion National Park. Beautiful breathtaking views. We even saw baby tadpoles in Taylor Creek.

Anthem Country Club hosted their 3rd Annual Father's Day Car Show. The car show took place on the grass overlooking a lake. The day was warm but a cool breeze and some nice shade trees made the day enjoyable. A golfer even provided some entertainment by getting his golf cart stuck in the mud. How many golfers does it take to get a golf cart unstuck?

The 20th Annual Parowan Fun Run Car Show was held on Saturday, June 12th in the historic town of Parowan, Utah. The even was sponsored by the Parowan Chamber or Commerce and the Las Vegas Desert Cruisers. The event took place on the grass at the Library Park on town square. The day was cool (47 degrees) it started off cloudy and by the end of the day it was pouring rain. There was even some hail. Despite the weather everyone had a great time.

"Vegas Cruise 2010" was held June 4-6, 2010 in downtown Las Vegas under the Fremont Street Experience Canopy.

The 11th Annual Gasoline Alley's Birthday Bash was held Sunday May 30, 2010. The celebrities were out in full force.

The first annual Hot Rod Classic was held in the Boulder City park in conjunction with the Best Dam Barbeque Cookoff to benefit the Boulder City Rotary Club. It was a great day for a carshow with outstanding barbeque.

The Desert Rodders Southern Utah and Dat's Trucking presented the 5th Annual Rockin in the Redrocks car show. The event was held in the parking area of the beautiful Tuachan Center. The red rocks of the Snow Canyon State Park provided a beautiful background for the show. Cars, shopping, good friends, good music, good food, great tamales, fantastic baked goods, a picturesque background, what more could a person ask for.... The Desert Rodders' car club put on a great show. Thanks to all of the volunteers for making us feel at home! See you all next year!

The 14th Boulder City Rod Run was held in Boulder City, Nevada on May 1st and 2nd. The Boulder City Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event and it was presented by the Pan Draggers Car Club along with the Spring Jamboree Arts & Entertainment. The weather was beautiful. Everyone had a great time.

The Monster Jam World Finals XI were held March 27, 2010. The day began with the "Party in the Pits". At the Ford booth they had a some classic cars on display. When the party was done the monster trucks took a parade lap through the pits. At night, the monster trucks were smokin' despite the weather being a little chilly. We had a great time watching the trucks compete. The grand finale was Adam Anderson - Grave Digger debuting his son Ryan Anderson in the Grave Digger pickup. After chasing each other around the track they body slammed their trucks into each other. It was awesome!!

The Super Chevy Show.com 30th Anniversary Tour came to the The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Congratulations to the car show winners.

The weekend was jam packed with various events and displays. The Jelly Belly wheel standing stage coach entertained the crowd. The jet powered truck heated up The Strip.

Drag racing began on Friday the 19th and concluded on Sunday the 21st. Congratulations to Shane, a newcomer to driving down the strip. He performed awesome!

Over 500, all years, makes and models of classic vehicles made the Casa Blanca, Oasis Resort, Virgin River and Eureka Casino their weekend home. The participant's were able to cruise around to all of the participating casinos to Show & Shine their vehicles. Participants and spectators from all over the country and the world attended the car show.
On Saturday, there was an Open Headers Cruise. The Mesquite Police Department escorted the cruisers thru the Mesquite Resort Association Properties.
Over 260 total awards were given out including Top 150 Vehicles, Dignitary & Hotel Casino Sponsors Awards, Specialties & Crowd Pleasers Awards, Peoples Choice, Participant's Pick plus $15,000 in Cash/Drawing Prizes for Car Show Participants.
Mayor Susan Holecheck officiated the awards ceremony.

The 2009 Christmas Toy Run to benefit the children at Robert Taylor Elementary School was held December 19, 2009. The Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, Inc., Las Vegas Super Run, Nevada Car Clubs, in conjunction with concerned businesses and individuals sponsored the event. Santa led the parade of cars from the Mystic Lodge Casino down the streets of Henderson to the school where hundreds of children were waiting to speak with Santa about their wishes for Christmas. Santa listened to the wishes of each child and presented each one with a gift.

The 2009 Lakes Festival of Lights Annual Car Show was held on Saturday, December 12th. The car show was part of the overall festival. A craft and art show, visits with Santa, entertainment by local school children, fabulous food and community partner information booths were all a part of the event. The festival ended with a boat parade. It was a drizzly day, but the attendees didn't let the weather dampen their spirits. Toys were collected by the Marine Corps for their Toys For Tots campaign. Boulder City, Nevada hosted the Santa's Electric Night Parade. The parade was to welcome Santa to Boulder City. The residents of Boulder City gathered along the parade route to watch the entrants. The Two Guys Car Club (Mike & Jim) of Boulder City invited their car friends to come join them be a part of the parade.

Thousands of people lined the streets of downtown Las Vegas to view the 2009 Veterans Day Parade. The parade is considered to be the biggest parade west of the Mississippi. We were honored to be a part of the Nevada Paralyzed Veterans of America parade entry. It was a very humbling experience for us. Viewing the numerous "thank you" signs and hearing the words "thank you" along the parade route caused us to reflect on the word freedom. Without the veterans who put their life on the line for freedom, we would not be here today celebrating their courage and commitment to the United States. Freedom is and was not free, it came with the cost of American lives. Thank you to all of have served our country both past and present. A heart felt thank you goes out to Carl and the other paralyzed veterans who honored us by allowing us to be a part of their Veterans Day celebration.

On November 7, 2009 Art, Shirley & Sheri Goldstrom hosted their 8th annual car show to benefit Parkinson's Disease. A big thank you to the entire Goldstrom family and volunteers who made this event a success.

The Las Vegas NHRA Nationals were held October 29 - November 1, 2009 at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Fans from all over the world were in attendance.

The Temecula Rod Run was held on the streets in historic downtown Temecula. The event begins with a Friday night cruise night and the show & shine event is on Saturday. It was great to catch up with all of our family and friends and make new friends. See you all at the next show.

The End of Summer Car Show was held at Lake Las Vegas on October 3,2 009. The event was produced by All American Rod & Custom. Congratulations to all of the winners.

The kick-off event for Super Run 2009 was held at the District in Green Valley Ranch. The event moved to downtown Henderson for the three day show.

Hot Rod, White and Blue was presented by Pappas Motorsports, hosted by The Shops at Warm Springs and Marco Pollo Chicken. The show was to benefit Paralyzed Veterans of America.

What a great evening for a car show. Our 83 year old Durant 1923 Star car made her debut appearance at a Las Vegas car show. In the morning, we were driving her around San Diego and in the evening she was in Las Vegas.

A great big thank you and congratulations goes out to the entire staff who put on a great car show.

The First Annual Meineke-Econo Lube Car Show was held Friday, August 21st. Congratulations to the management and staff for a fun cruise night.

Brothers Trucks hosted their 11th Annual Classic Brothers Chevy & GMC Truck Show & Shine was held July 12th 2009 in Anaheim, CA. The event was open to 1947-1987 Chevy and GMC trucks.

Ross J's Aloha Grill hosted a Saturday night cruise night. The food was great. Cars from all over the Las Vegas valley came out for the evening cruise. Congratulations to Ross J's for hosting an outstanding evening where everyone had a great time.

The Fremont Street Experience and Majestic Graphics, Inc. sponsored a car show under the canopy on Fremont Street. The car show featured 60's era and 1970 classic vehicles.

The Hot Rod Grille in conjunction with the Las Vegas Cruisin' Association hosted a cruise night in memory of fellow hot rodder, loving father and loyal customer Willie Tyson.

The 12th Annual July Jamboree Cruise-In, was held July 10 & 11, 2009 in Cedar City, Utah. This is a community family event and street festival. It featured over 250 classic cars, hotrods and motorcycles. There are food vendors and booths, live entertainment and bands. The event was held in the Cedar City Historic Downtown.

Friday night the event kicked off with a main street cruise and pre-registration. Breakfast was served Saturday morning at the Garden House. Following breakfast there was a Rod Run up the mountain and then the Show & Shine took place in the afternoon and evening.

This event is sponsored by Tink’s Superior Auto Parts and the Cedar City Rotary Club. The July Jamboree Cruise-In is a Cedar City Rotary Club fundraiser. The funds benefit the community and humanitarian projects.

The Boulder City Pan Draggers and Rod News of Southern Nevada sponsored a classic car cruise-in at the Boulder Creek Golf Course. When the sun went down the spectacular fireworks display began.

Findlay Chevrolet in Las Vegas, Nevada hosted the 3rd Annual "Frank's Father's Day Show". The event began with a cruise night on Friday, June 19th and the show was held on Saturday, June 20th.

The Las Vegas Speed Spectacular which included the Nostalgia Drag Racing featuring the NHRA's Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series was held at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speeedway complex.

Our friends Scotty Fivella and Tiger Ishibashi participated in the drag races. When Scotty was not racing, his car was part of the car show. Congratulations to Scotty & his pit crew and Tiger & his dad Bob for a job well done!

Next year let's hope that Mother Nature does not decide to have a heat wave hit the Las Vegas Valley during this event. We hope to see you all next year. Let's all think cool thoughts for next year!!!!

We take you back to 1934 when gas cost 10 cents a gallon, toilet tissue was 5 cents a roll, the price of a 1934 Deluxe 5 window coupe was $555.00 and a boy named Art Goldstrom was born.

On May 22, 2009 family and friends shared in celebration honoring Art's 75th birthday.

A group of us from the Las Vegas Cruisin' Association got together and headed to Mesquite, Nevada to take place in the Mesquite Days Parade. We were asked to come and promote the upcoming "Mesquite Classic Nights 2009" car show which will be held June 26-29, 2009.

The trip began with Bob having a flat tire on his trailer and ended with him having another flat tire on his trailer on the way home. He promptly headed to Discount Tire where he purchased 6 new tires for his trailer.

This was the first car related event for Shaianne who was born on April 2, 2009. She spent most of her time sleeping or eating.

Mega Scout Expo 2009 is the single largest program activity sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America Las Vegas Area Council. Area. Youth from all over Southern Nevada, and from Kingman, and Lake Havasu converged at Sunset Park in Henderson, Nevada. The scouts enjoyed a weekend of camping, an opportunity to earn merit badges, set up exhibits at the Scout Expo. One of the exhibits at the Expo was a car show. The Las Vegas Cruisin' Association worked with the Scout Expo to host this event. Car owners from all over the Las Vegas valley came out and showed their support for this worth while cause. The scouts enjoyed the cars and especially the roaring engines contest. Thank you to all who supported this event.

The 2nd Annual Weekend of Wheels was held in Laughlin, Nevada May 8, 9 and 10, 2009. The event was sponsored by the Laughlin Tourism Commission, Laughlin Hotels & Casinos, Las Vegas Convention & Visitors Authority, Las Vegas Events, Laughlin Car Shows and the Las Vegas Cruisin’ Association, Inc.

The weather was hot but the cars were cool. Over 500 cars were at this event. Car show entrants cruised around to the eight casinos who participated in the event. Saturday afternoon featured an open headers cruise to the casinos.

The 13th Boulder City Rod Run was held in Boulder City, Nevada May 1-3, 2009. The show was sponsored by the Boulder Chamber of Commerce and presented by the Pan Draggers Car Club. Over 260 cars were at the show.

Red Rock Harley-Davidson hosted the 2nd Annual Car & Bike Show. Red Rock Harley-Davidson knows how to host an event. Between the cars, bikes, comfortable weather, good food and music you couldn't ask for a better event. A great big thank you goes out to Mark, Kathee and the rest of the dealership's staff who made this a fun event. We hope to see you at their next event.

The Albertson's grocery store located at 2910 Bicentennail Parkway in Henderson, Nevada hosted a car show to benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association. There were games to play, a barbeque, and drawing prizes. The children enjoyed several rounds of cake walk game. Some of the drawing prizes were bags of groceries that included everything needed for a spaghetti dinner. Guess what we had for dinner after the carshow? A great big thank you goes out the managers and staff of the Albertsons for hosting a great event. We hope they have more events in the future.

The Santa Fe Station Casino is home to the West End Boyz Sunday morning car show. A lot of cars came out for the Easter morning show. The weather was perfect.

What a great day for the SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals held at The Strip at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada. The races were exciting. The classic cars and other vehicles that had been on display during the 3 day event did a parade lap down the return road before the final round of racing for Pro Stock, Nitro Funny Cars and Top Fuel took place. What an experience to drive down the return road! A big thank you goes out to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for allowing us to be a part of this event.

The weather for Day 2 of qualifying was quite different from the first day. It was a day of blue skies with light winds. Every class got in two rounds of qualifying.

The NHRA SummitRacing.com NHRA Nationals were held in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Strip located at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. A group of us from the Las Vegas Cruisin Association were invited to show our classic cars during the 3 day event. In addition to the classic cars there were tricked out semis and race cars on display at the main entrance to the track. The morning started out sunny and the weather quickly changed to cold, rainy and windy. The winds by the end of the day topped 60+ mph and the track shut down due to safety concerns. The Pro Stock and Nitro Funny Car classes got in one round of qualifying. Top Fuel did not get to run this day.

The Golden Memories Car Club sponsored the Spring Fling 2009 at the Railroad Pass Hotel & Casino. The show benefited the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. The weather was cloudy to partly cloudy with a few sprinkles of rain intermittently. The weather didn't affect anyone's spirits everyone seemed to be having a great time. Over 100 cars attended this event. We look forward to next year's event.

The 14th Run to Stateline Buffalo Bill's Casino in Primm, Nevada was held on January 1, 2009. It was a beautiful sunny day. Patrick entertained us with his impressions of various songs.

Findlay Chevrolet inconjunction with the Las Vegas Cruisin' Association, Collision Authority and Perini Building Company sponsored a toy drive for the Boys & Girls Clubs.

A free oil change voucher for a GM vehicle was given in exchange for a new unwrapped toy.

Several classic GM vehicles were on display in the service department during the event.

The toy run started at the Mystic Lodge Casino and followed Santa in his sleigh to the school. Over 180 bicycles were donated to this event. A big thank goes out to the employees and customers of Mulligan's who donated over 110 bicycles.

"Santa" Don Salomonson listened to the wishes of each of the over 500 children to see if they had been naughty or nice.

The Las Vegas valley was hit with a major winter snow storm on Tuesday, December 17, 2008. This was the worst snow storm in 30 years. Areas of the valley received 10 inches of snow. Las Vegas occassionally receives snow but it is usually doesn't stick around long. Snow is still on the ground 4 days later.

Boulder City, Nevada hosted the Santa's Electric Night Parade. The parade was to welcome Santa to Boulder City. The residents of Boulder City gathered along the parade route to watch the 60+ entrants. The Two Guys Car Club (Mike & Jim) of Boulder City invited their car friends to come join them be a part of the parade.

The Lakes Festival of Lights Seventh Annual Car Show was held on Saturday December 13, 2008. It was a cold and windy day. Toys were collected by the Marine Corps for their Toys For Tots campaign.

The Good Guys "11th Southwest Nationals" were held November 14-16, 2008 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Mike Hogan & friends attended this event. Mike brought back the following pictures to share.

Art, Shirley & Sheri Goldstrom hosted the 7th Annual Art, Shirley & Sheri's Car Show. Approximately 200 cars were in attendance for the event. All of the proceeds from the car show entry fee, live & silent auctions, raffles and 50/50 drawing go to the American Parkinson Disease Association of Southern Nevada. The Art & Shirley Goldstrom Museum was open for attendees to view. The weather was beautiful. Our dear friends Randy & Sharion Connell made a special appearance at the event. Everyone was excited to see Randy. Thank you to the Goldstrom's and all of their volunteers for a fantastic event.

The Eighth Annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the second-to-last stop in the 2008 NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series were held October 31st - November 2nd, 2008. The following are pictures taken during the 3rd and 4th qualifying rounds on Saturday, November 1st.

Super Run 2008 was held in downtown Henderson, Nevada September 26-28, 2008. It was unseasonably warm. The daytime high temperature was in excess of 100 degrees each day. The weather didn't keep the spectators home. Both young and old came out to see the cars.

The kick off party for Super Run 2008 was held at The District. A great time was had by all in attendance.

The First Annual Monster Mash Car Bash to benefit F.A.S.T. (Finding Autistic Solutions for Tomorrow) was held at the Palace Station Casino. F.A.S.T. is a non-profit organization to offer financial assitance to schools that offer Autism programs. Cars were decorated for Halloween and children went trick or treating in the "Trunk or Treat" area. Awards were given including one's for various halloween themes such as ghost flames and spider webs.
